No one to blame

Sometimes we just don't muster the necessary courage or will to see a glimpse through, another potential love goes to the wastelands of unrequited love

Well, well, well
Here we stand in the void
Between Heaven and Hell
Both of us speechless
What mores to be said
Fine mess we made us
No start, just an end.

Do you choke from the tears
Rollin down your cheeks
Hell, I know I do
Doin it as we speak
Do you feel a pain
In the middle of your core
As you lock your door.

There's no one to blame
We just played the game
A glimpse at the coulda been
As we both turn away
We both feel unworthy
Of each others shattered souls
If only we coulda been bold.

But I never lied
I never lied
When I say, said
I love you
G-d knows that I tried
To find the way to your heart
All beat up and scared.

I did, do my best
But I just keep messin up
And failing the test
All my courage and pride
Are all left aside
You're beautiful
You're worthy ...

Baby, there's no one to blame
We took a shot at the game
Saw a glimpse of the coulda been
Didn't belive in the shoulda been
We're both just two fools
That'll have to move on
With these cracks in our souls
If only we coulda been bold.

One of these days
All your dreams
Will come true
You'll forgive and forget
You may even love
Again
