I Halve It All

We are always looking at that half a glass from the wrong perspective

I have a smile
That is etched in my eyes
I have laughter
That resonates throughout
I have a scent
That imbues and pervades me

I have the warmth
Of an indented body
That's curves and crests
Fit perfectly
As if meant from all times
To meld into mine.

I have Love
In my heart
And the Love of all
That exists
And the Love of that one
So special to me

I halve it all
I halve it all
I have this fortune of kings
This abundance of blessings
These treasures of all that I hoped for
I halve it all

She has her blessings
She has her dreams
She is a wonder
As has never been seen
She is of beauty
With none to compare

With eyes that twinkle
That are endless in depth
A voice that sooths and whispers
Casting a spell
A touch that scorches and moves one
Even when not there

I halve it all
I halve it all
She does as well
Together our halves become whole
And by thus
We halve it all
